The Go-Kart Ride is Better Than Ever

MINI offers the Convertible with a handful of engine options, and all come with front-wheel drive and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 161 horsepower. The Convertible S comes with the same engine, boosted to deliver 201 horsepower – an improvement compared to the 2024 models. Of course, MINI continues to offer the John Cooper Works edition with the same engine boosted to 228 horsepower. All engine options deliver the lively ride drivers expect from a MINI, and the updates add more refinement and punchy exhaust sounds.

The MINI Convertible and Convertible S engines get an EPA-estimated 28/39 MPG, while the John Cooper Works gets an EPA-estimate 29 MPG combined.

MINI continues to offer the Convertible in three configurations: Signature, Signature Plus, and Iconic. The entry-level Signature is well-equipped with synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, ambient interior lighting, and a power soft top.
